Abyss Ingredients Launches New Nutricosmetic Product

Abyss Ingredients is a French biotech company, focusing on improving human health and well-being with sustainable natural products, and innovative research. They offer many nutraceutical solutions naturally extracted from sustainable marine ecosystems.

Their newest nutricosmetic product called Cartidyss aims to slow down skin aging and improve overall skin health.

So, what are nutricosmetics?

Nutricosmetics are unique nutritional supplement products that care for skin, hair, and nails. These products are gaining momentum quickly as one of the latest trends in the beauty industry as people realize that in addition to nutraceuticals that promote health, they can use nutricosmetics to enhance beauty.

Nutricometic companies use natural ingredients with evidence-based benefits to help people care for their skin, hair, and nails.

Cartidyss is based on marine fish cartilage hydrolysate, and its unique composition aims to slow down skin aging.

The skin aging process depends on several factors. There are things we can not control, like our genetics, but other things like UV radiation, alcohol, stress, and tobacco are hurting our skin health, and their effects can be reduced. Skin aging leads to wrinkle formation, thinning of skin layers, and appearance of discolorations on the surface.

Collagen is one of the essential components of our skin, and it gives it cohesion and resistance. However, collagen production starts to slow down after the age of 25, and that’s when skin alterations begin to show.

In addition to collagen, glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) are another group of essential elements responsible for maintaining matrix moisture. They are connected to proteins called proteoglycans, and all of these molecules together are essential for healthy dermal structure and functionality.

Collagen and GAGs are what Cartidyss is made of exactly, which gives it unique efficacy for battling skin aging.

But, is it effective?

Trials performed by Abyss Ingredients show that after 90 days of Cartidyss supplementation use, participants showed significant health skin benefits. Their newest clinical study indicates that Cartidyss can:

  • Reduce skin wrinkles and pores
  • Improve skin elasticity
  • Improve dermis density by affecting collagen matrix
  • Improve dermis hydration

Cartidyss can eliminate the thining of skin layers by stimulating collagen production in the dermis. A significant increase in thickness has been observed after 90 days.

All of these effects significantly improved skin health, and participants clearly benefited from the 90-day treatment with Cartidyss.

Participants also reported less hair loss, stronger nails, and increased hair shine, although only around 50% of initial participants answered the questionnaire about these effects.

Abyss Ingredients plans to publish these findings in a peer-reviewed journal, and it’s definitely something to look forward to. In the meantime, you can visit their website where you can learn more about Cartidyss and their other products.
